“Pray without ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:17
You know those times when you know you should pray? But you somehow cannot? Or when you are being nudged in the spirit to pray but you somehow cannot gather the strength or stamina to do so?
Christians need to daily communicate with God. Prayer give us the avenue to do so, it is no wonder the devil will do all he can to keep you from praying. You know, the more you pray, the more the relationship you have with God deepens.
In those weary moments, guess who we need to ask for strength? God!!! Yes, you have no strength to pray but God is the only source of that strength. So in those moments of weakness, still pray.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength” Isaiah 40:29
Ask God to strengthen you. Ask him for the strength and might to resist the lies of the devil. The lie that you are too weak, too weary etc
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” Philippians 4:6
